Dr. Handoko who is not afraid to die

Recently the story of a doctor named Handoko Gunawan who helped deal with the Jakarta corona virus outbreak was viral. At almost 80 years old, he was still actively working until the morning helping patients. 

Dr. Handoko Gunawan, Sp.P was a Lung Specialist who has 39 years of experience in his field. He has completed his medical education at the University of Indonesia. He was a member of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDA) and the Indonesia Lung Doctors Association.

Although her children forbid dealing with Covid-19 patients, Dr. Handoko insisted on serving patients. According to Dr. Handoko, fighting for people was more important than thinking about their health, who was old.

He had rumored to have to work until 3 o'clock in the morning for his devotion to humanity. Unfortunately, Dr. Handoko's good intentions were not supported by his related body, not as before. Until he was reportedly entered the ICU. According to the family while lying in the ICU room, Dr. Handoko had experienced shortness of breath. They also said, that Dr. Handoko was already in hospital management and competent medical staff.

Most netizens gave appreciation and wrote prayers for the safety of Dr. Handoko. It was known that the corona virus can have more fatal effects for people in old age, including those who work as doctors.
